I can hear Maggie praying with Steven in her room. I love hearing that little voice talk to God.
Today, Christine was watching the nursery and she opened up the half door during worship so the kids could hear the songs. She said Maggie got up on a bucket and raised her hands up to worship and sing along. She loves getting to church early to listen to Miss Kim play the guitar and sing. She wants a guitar now. I guess she could follow in her Uncle Jonathan's guitar playing footsteps.
We had an awesome weekend. Rickey Bolden came in for our district conference. It was very powerful and very challenging. And, I am wiped out. I babysat for a friend on Friday morning and I haven't stopped going yet. We were at conference all weekend. It was great, though. God is going to do some great things through our church.
I am so busy with work right now. I love the money, but it's so stressful trying to get it all done and have a family and help at church. I am teaching 6 classes right now and I was taking a continuing education class. Working from home is such a mixed blessing. It's great to be able to be flexible, but I have a hard time dedicating the time to work and not getting distracted by the house. Oh, and I have a VERY demanding 4 year old. I mean, all 4 year olds are demanding, but this one never stops talking either.
Next weekend is our anniversary. 7 years! woot. We are thinking about going to Monterrey on Sunday night. Tiffany has volunteered to babysit Maggie! It will be so nice to get away and recoup for a night. I should probably not take my laptop if I really want to relax.
I really want some chairs outside for our porch. Yes, this is a hint! Mother's day is next weekend, too. It's so nice at night. It would be nice to sit out there and talk or work after Maggie goes to bed.
